Spoiled kids... and Kate's shiner...

Tanner lucked out with his birthday...
He got new Jordans... (just like Dad's)
and Jordan basketball shorts...(just like Dad's)

So of course we had to go play basketball.
He had a basketball cake, too.
Grandma and Grandpa gave him rollerblades...
Nana and Pop gave him a scooter...
and Kate gave him a helmet and pads. (do you like her colorful outfit?)
Kate even got in of the goods, Nana and Pop gave her this new dolly. She likes her baby Cinderella, a lot.
Tanner wasn't happy about her getting something for his birthday, so he gave her this...

Just kidding, this wasn't even on his birthday, she just happened to be wearing the same sweater. I think she had tripped and nailed her face on the dishwasher. It only bruised a little, nothing social services would show up over!
Anyway, thanks to Nana, Pop, Grandma, Grandpa, and everyone else who helped make Tanner such a happy kid on his birthday!

Happy Birthday Monkey Bear!

It is Tanner-man's birthday!!!Yesterday, his preschool class sang to him at the end of class, hence the coats... this is his teacher Mrs. Nikki, she is the cutest and I don't think we could have found a more perfect first teacher for him. He loves her and school.

These are a few of his favorite things, popcorn and apple juice... so we took them to share with his class as a treat.

We love you buddy... even when you are crazy or growling mad... Happy Birthday!!!

Love,

Mom, Dad, and Sister

Happy Birthday Aubry!

Happy Birthday! Oh to the days before the departure of so many friends! We miss you guys and hope that you have a terrific birthday! I don't know how Jeff will top the car last year! Best of luck with that! But it should pay off for you either way, well, unless he just plain forgets!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Tanner's first Pinewood Derby...

Our ward is a student ward, thus we have no scouts. But to avoid missing out on such fun, we do a free for all Pinewood Derby every year!
These two actually get along, they act like an old married couple sometimes. Brooke liked Tanner's car so much she would race with him to the end to pick it up and bring it back to the top. In this picture, I told them to smile but he wanted to hold his car and she politely wasn't going to let that happen. They are too funny!
We enlisted the help of my dad to build Tanner's car, and it was a good thing we did because he took 2nd place!!! I am not sure if we have destroyed some right-of-passage type thing with scouting, but he loved it and has an awesome car! My dad even bought him red wheels because he loves red. He wasn't sure what we were up to when we showed him the block of wood, but once we got to the race track, he figured it out! So thanks to Pop for helping out with this and building the kid a SWEET race car!

This and That

This was just cute when they started doing it, so I was glad when they did it again for me to take a quick video!

Tanner has been learning a lot at preschool! He is getting closer to getting them all in there! I mean really who needs E-P? They really are just superfluous anyway! My favorite is that you know HIS ABC's! He actually knows it better than this, but a camera comes out and he gets goofy!

Stay tuned... more to come I promise!

My Baby Girl

Happy Birthday Little Miss Cup-Kate... She turned one! Okay it was like a week and a half ago, but the pictures are actually from her party! I am not late with taking those, just posting them! Anyway, we went to Craigos with both of our families and of course ate WAY too much (but I have no regets, I love Craigos). I just got her a little cake because who needs extra cake to eat when you have dessert pizza? But she loved the frosting, mostly the pink flower and we had a great time!
Oh, I have something on my face? How embarrassing! Where? Right here?
This is Tanner's present to his baby sister... he plays with it more than she does.
So a few updates on this little sweetie... she began walking a few weeks ago. She got her first two teeth for New Years (I thought it would have been funny if they had come in for Christmas). She still doesn't have very much hair, but it is fairly blonde. She loves her daddy and stands on the bench at church and says "Da... Da...Da" until he is out of his meetings and comes into sacrament. She is not shy and when she is, it is all an act. She thinks Tanner is hillarious, and the only person funnier is herself, or maybe Pop. She loves to eat. And she prefers her thumb to whole milk any day of the week. So there is a bit about my blonde hair, blue eyed baby.
And this little video is from Grandma's birthday a few days later. Kate learned a new trick with her straw.

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!! Until next year...
