Happy Easter!

Okay, so the day after, but all the same! I had a fun weekend! On Friday I got to hang out with Jennie and Randah! Hooray for best friends!!! We missed you Kristy! But that was super fun because I hadn't seen Randah in 2 1/2 years! Sad! So she has the pictures, sorry, none here, but it was fun all the same! And I should mention that Cory graduated while I was hanging out with my friends, but not to worry, I didn't skip the ceremony to see my friends, Cory was at work, so there really was no point in going, and so there are no pictures from that either! Wow, why do we have a camera? anyway, Saturday we went to the ward party and Tanner cleaned up in the Easter Egg hunt! Way to go kiddo! Again, no pictures! So sorry! But we went and had another Easter Egg hunt at my grandparent's house with my cousins kids and I do have pictures from that! Tanner loved having so boys to hang out with! He followed Kyler around everywhere! We also roasted hot dogs over a fire- always a fun thing- Tanner loved it and we all brought way too many eggs so these kids were almost bored before they were done! Better too many than not enough! But we missed you Morgan! We will see you in a few weeks!
So on to Sunday... after church, we went to Cory's parents and Preston took Tanner out to fly an old kite he had found. Tanner thought it was the funniest thing ever when it would nose dive and crash into the ground! And then we went to my parents house and had a little birthday party for Tanner. He got these monkey pajamas-can't see them- and a cute little alphabet book! (Spoiled kid!)So it was a busy but fun weekend full of family! Hope yours was great too!

We love this kid! He keeps us on our toes and always has something to say! He was born on his due date, April 9, 2006. I was so happy to not go over! We have taken this kid everywhere and he has endured it! Rarely with a smile on his face, but we have survived! We love you Tanner! Happy Birthday!

Most Eligible Bachelor!

So I have a really cute brother- that never reads my blog so I hope I am safe- that has never had anything but crappy girlfriends! He is awesome and one of my favorite people, so if you know a cute girl (preferably funny, slightly sarcastic, not uptight, and also not a pushover) we should hook them up! She is Blessed!

It only took 7 weeks, but we did it! She is finally blessed! It was really I didn't want to take her to church- ya know kids having goobers and all. But I think she is the cutest!

Tanner now has a cold (goobies mentioned before) so Emily, if Lynden gets sick! I am so sorry! Yes it is probably our fault! But we had a good day! It is always fun to see family, we missed those of you unable to attend (Ali, Brad, Morgan, Julie... all of you!) Anyway, Hopefully we can all get together at Easter!

I really like having a girl, it is fun to dress them up! I love her little dress! They have way more options on little girl outfits than little boy outfits! But isn't that really how it is in general? I do have to say though, I think it was more fun when I was little and my dolls never cried or needed to eat or pooped (well some of them) or really did anything but sit there and take the torcher! But that is okay I love her and I think that little dolls really aren't as fun to cuddle!! okay dolls aren't really good for much when it comes down to it! I will take Kate over a doll any day!

Tanner went skiing!

Okay, so it was a few weeks ago, but he loves going! We took him once last year and a few times this year. We really just let him cruise down the hill on the harness because he doesn't want to go slow, or learn anything that would require slowing down! He just kept saying "I am crazy man Tanner" it was funny! He didn't really even want to be hooked to the harness, he would try to take it and go by himself-yeah- that sounds like a good plan huh! next year we will let him go on his own- if he will turn a few times and swear to stop at the bottom!

4 Weeks on Tuesday but 1 month on Friday!

So here is my question... Why is it that? We generally think of a month as about 4 weeks, but February really is the only month that is 4 weeks! Kinda silly, I think someone was either drunk, or forgot how to count when they were laying out the months! Now I know you will argue that it is based on some ancient lunar thing or rotation of the earth blah blah blah... whatever, I see it as there are 365.25 days a year, we want 12 months, so there should be 30 days, 10 hours, 19 minutes, and 12 seconds for each month. Or we could go with keeping the leap year, it is kinda fun, but it really doesn't even things up! and how did February get shafted with 28 days? Were theses people like- "hey feb-buddy ole pal, have we got a deal for you! we will give you an extra day ever 4 years if you take these 28... because really all the months have 28 days, so really we are just making you special!"-? hmmm... Just a thought, random yes, but a thought none the less!
